August 23rd, The Z Club of Houston will cruise Westheimer.
This is an attempt to dispel the rumor that we're a bunch of old farts that never do anything fun.

We're the second oldest Z Club in America for a reason...we try to do new/different things for all of our members; and we'd like to invite everyone to join us.

We'll be meeting at Bubble's Car Wash on Westheimer around 7-7:30 and walk over to James Coney Island and eat supper. We plan to pull out for our cruise around 9-9:30.

I'd be there but I'll be out of town every weekend into September

If you organize anything for the middle of September through Thanksgiving I'll be around though

 

so we can cruise with y'all even if we're not zclub of houston members, right? just trying to make shure...

ABSOLUTELY !!!

In fact, we're hoping ALL Z Car Owners in the area show up.
While we have several 350Z's in the club, we've got at least one of every Z ever made (I think). Just found out a couple of days ago that we've got our first 350Z Roadster in the club.

While we claim to be the Z Club, we have several "other" Datsun/Nissan Products in the club...several Sentras (a couple of them are SER's), 240SX's, etc... Heck, my wife is even thinking of bringing her '70 Datsun 1600 Roadster out for the cruise.

We're a pretty diverse and casual group, and hope everyone comes out, and has a good time.

Appreciate the warning.
...have heard lately, that the police action on Westheimer is intense...thus the reason that I stressed NO RACING ! on our webpage.
We've got permission to park, so we should be cool there.
Not anticipating any troubles. Should be an enjoyable evening.

Dang...gonna miss this one Dave. I'll be out of town (in NYC without my Z). If it works out and the cops keep their distance, I hope this turns into a more regular cruise for the club! Nothing like seeing a load of Z's cruise by to highlight how cool our cars are!
