That is still cheap compared to a 1/2 day at Motorsports ranch $95. OR a full weekend requirement through www.speedventures.com $375. or many other racing organizations track days.

Very, true! I just got used to the steal of a deal. lol But I completely understand, the promoters have bills to pay, so it's still a good deal for what it is.

They did jack their prices. Yes it is still cheaper than most place...but we were spoilt with their cheap deals.

I think TMS jacked the rental prices so they had to start charging us more.

TMS may have seen how the group grew from 7 cars and 50 bikes at the first event to an easy 90 bikes and 20+ cars.

350zSpeedRacer,

How do you like the S-tune suspension so far?

I've been back and forth on that mod, but will probably have to do something soon since I just bought new rims and tires on my own nickle (see feathering issue).

You going Saturday to the meet Marcus setup?

Looks like I won't be turning, just driving straight. Since we're "drag racing" is there going to be any kind of track prep? Should I be bringing my slicks, or just stay on street tires?

Default update

straight line/drag racing is really aimed towards the bikes.

drag racing for cars between run sessions is available and it will be at $15

I run on race tires on my S for the track.

Com' on Run that Camaro on the track.

Well, if you'd been more specific from the beginning, I might have just said that from the beginning.

Any chance of these stipulations changing? What gloves do you guys use...I have none. I'm excited, but disappointed that I can't have a passenger :-( Thanks for all the info and the great opportunity!! :-D

I will address the above mentioned.

Video for personal use is ok, but not for resale. Hooking up a bumper cam or an in car cam is cool. I encourage you to do so, you can learn from other drivers in front of you and you maybe able to see a better line to take at the next event.

I don't think TMS doesn't wants food and beverage to be brought in. I need to clarify this rule. For now. Bring your own cooler with water, soda, snacks or food.

If someone says someting come and find me I will clear it up.

I myself have brought food and beverage and nothing was said to me about it.

I know that alcohol will not be tolerated and I believe the food and beverage comment was more towards the possibility of people trying to sell it to others and make a profit.

passengers are allowed in cars but not on a bike.

gloves are not necessar.,I do wear motorcycle riding gloves.

Bring a HELMET even if it is old and crusty.

Hey Graham, next one you can go to, PM me and I'll give ya my number. A couple of the people I met up with said they saw you at my car, but I was in the drivers meeting.

I'll be out of town on the 31st, so we'll have to hit up the next one. It'll be fun to have two Zs chasing each other out there.
