Default Aug 17th $55 TMS

Don't forget another Track Day at TMS courtesy of Sport Bike Hype.

http://www.sportbikehype.com/index.php

try to be there between 8am and 8am:30am. Although they are currently allowing people to come as late as they want. Getting there early will insure maximum run sessions through out the day and a cooler run session early.

Let me know if there are any other questions.

Update: Price will be $55 for cars at the track day! Super Cheap! You can also bring a bike for $25 and stunters/straight line $15.

I'd like to see if any of you NA Z can hang with my supercharged S2000 at the track. I hope to see some of you there!

Oooh fun! I haven't ever even been on a track...but I want to! This looks like it might not be the right time for a complete newbie to join in though? If it isn't...any suggestions on how to break into playing on the track? My short-term goal is to just be able to go and play on the track more than actual autocross.

This would be perfect for you gooters. It's basically a day of fun--go out, run the track with other cars, and just see how you do. It's not a competition.

I've gone twice before, and plan on going again. Great way to get some practice and or testing in!

350zSpeedRacer,

She can hook it up! I hope to see you out there again! Try to get more Z ladies encouraged to come out. We need a little diversity.

This is a non-competition event. Right now there is no way of even keep track of how fast you are getting around the track. This is a cheap way to get on the track and hit corners so hard that you will know what your car is able to do or not do.

Any of you have a Supercharged Z?

sprtbiker,
do you drive a R6?

BTW, MAKE SURE YOU BRING A HELMET for yourself and any passengers!!!

you can wear shorts and a t-shirt. Right now jeans, a long sleeve shirt and gloves are not a requirement. just in case I would throw those items in a bag and bring them anyway.

you can pick up cheap motorcycle helmets at any local shop $50-$75.

I brought my little sis out last time, and she's hooked. I may even get my dad to come out with his supercharged BMW wagon! It's freakin' funny to see that car in action!

But look out now! I've got my new suspension, so no more of that nasty understeer for me! Woo Hoo!

Yes, and I'm VERY protective of her. Just ask some of her old boyfriends I didn't like.

bigger front reduces oversteer and bigger rear induces oversteer.

which problem are you having?

I didn't think the track model needed suspension, I thought that was one of the features it had?

I am very interested in upgrading suspension...tires...etc. Of course, I have never even tracked the car!

So...I plan on driving on stock everything for awhile, that way...I can really feel the difference of each upgrade as I do it. Oh yeah, I need to really learn how to drive too! :-/

***ATTENTION***

Straight line drivers = $15 (drag racing)
Road Course drivers= $55

Last time, it was just a fixed price for both events. So if you want to do them both, you would be paying $70...just trying to save you people from doing the math.

I will be in Austin that weekend. But if I come back early, I will try to be out there.

Damn! They've REALLY upped the price. I was bragging to all these people that it's so cheap.
