Anyone catch the news story yesterday? Some guy here in Houston got caught for DWI and his punishment is to put signs all over his Silverstone Z. He has to leave these signs on his car for one year. The signs says stuff like "drinking and driving has ruined my life." It looks like a Touring model w/burnt orange leather. You'd think those signs would eventually ruin the paint. Just wondering if anyone knows this person or if he is on this board.

This is the same judge that sent his own son to prison for a drug offense.

I think putting these signs on your car should be considered "cruel and unusual" punishment.
Surely, there are extenuating circumstances beyond what we're hearing. Maybe he's a repeat offender, or in lieu of public service, or SOMETHING...
