Default Austin Z Owners And 2222.....

i visit austin fairly often. last nite, i asked my homeboy where's a cool place to drive my z. well, he took me to 2222. boy is that fun. it was night and i've only had my z for a week, plus there were lots of other cars so we took it pretty conservatively. but goodness, those twisties shure are fun. can't wait to try that again in the daytime with minimal traffic. so my question is, how come i haven't seen anyone post about this road here? and do you have other favorite roads to drive in austin? thanks for any info you can share

2222 is like a straight road compared to a hundred other roads around the Austin area Volente Beach Rd, Lime Creek Rd, Hamilton Pool Rd, etc etc. I don't know of any good general road guides...but there is a great book for all of Texas fromt he guys at TexMoto/Ride Texas magazine. It's a motorcycle magazine for Texans. I used to subscribe to it, and I have their guide to fun roads around Texas, tons of them are for central Texas/Austin. It's really well done, and only $17.99. http://www.texmoto.com/
