Well, here in Harlingen, TX, gas is pretty much even across the city. Valero, Wally World, HEB, Shell, Exxon, Texaco and Chevron, the prices are:

$2.25 - Reg
$2.35 - Plus
$2.45 - Prem

Damn $2.24! To be honest, I thought I would never see a day where gas falls that low.

I just filled up here at a Shell gas station, 93 V-power at $3.19/gallon.

I am still very suppriesed that gas, way down here in the Rio Grande Valley with NO REFINERIES, is cheaper that all the Texas cities that have refineries in them.

To get gas cheap in SA, you have to drive over to 410 & I-10 by the Allied Waste Landfill. I stop in at the Chevron station there when I drive out of San Antonio. Sometimes, the Shell station, south of North Star Mall, is lower than some of the stations in that part of North San Antonio.

Stay away from the stations on Blanco around Bitters. They are the highest in SA. That is the area where I was living at.

You are. The dollar is up versus the Euro and many other currencies and trading in a narrow band versus the yen.. Nice turn around from 4 months ago.

the sell offs in the stock market are still happening though. I believe on November 13th OPEC is going to have a meeting and cut the supply of oil, they will be trying to drop the supply below the current demand to increase prices again. hopefully enough governments will put enough presure on them to prevent that from happening though.

Gas is around $2.02/$2.12 & $2.22 in Harlingen. I can only imagine that gas will be below $2.00 in another day or two.
