Probably about a 50% larger opening.
so it just opens up (direct path) to the filter... no tube between or anything?

So the other day there was an orange cone in the middle of the highway and I felt compelled to get as close to it as possible.

There is a tube that goes straight to the air filter....It is a direct feed to the air intake. Cold air BOOOOOST ! Lol I wish !

To late to make a smart remark

Adam if your not already a member of the BMW club, you now have to sign up for membership before you can race with them. But you get your next race free.

Here is info if you didn't see it.

How much of that is photoshopped? And if it's real, what's her name?

jake and i (mostly jake) got the new spark plugs in.... not terrribly hard but a PAIN IN THE ***. had to take off strut bar, intakes, and would have been easier to take the plenum off BUT the coolant hoses going to the throttle bodies kept up from lifting up up more than half an inch. not only are they tricky to get to, but the spark plugs arent the normal 5/8, they are 14mm.

meh - with 2 extra hands and us not having to unplug any hoses - was worth it. had to rig up a 14mm to grab the plugs from the holes..lol

it starts and idles better, didnt notice much diff in the first and second, but in third and higher it is more responsive and pulls harder.
