Here is a in car from the lap timer. Its from a early session, I have the phone facing forward so I can set the data logger so the camera is using the front camera which is only VGA I think. Quality is not good but I like that I can see what my eyes are doing (or not doing) in the rear view mirror. Had a lot more wind noise then I thought I would, guess two mullets are in the future.
That was cool with the Harry's lap timer.....I need to get me that app and find something to hold the phone.
I thought I saw a commercial for a new suction cup holder for the iPhone ? Anybody see it ? Send me the link.

i can't see this stuff at work so i'm pissed off -
every single month 150 bucks - i won't be able to make it out again until i get tires of some sort -
i need to get 305's for the work wheels too - just for pat lol - i might go with 295's - not sure yet -

My best lap was 2:10:37 during the last run sesson, a lot of 2:12-s mixed in and then it goes to 2:16-18 when we hit traffic. The "Virtual Best" which takes your best sector times and adds them up is a 2:08:56.
Lots of time to be made in the brake zones, Mike said it earlier but it was easy to late brake when following someone and make up time on them. Not much for overruns on that track to cover mistakes. I keep wondering what was on the other side of the hill at the end of the back straight. Maybe I dont wont to know!

Scott, I know you like making your own stuff, and I'm sure you probably don't want to pay $20+ for some piece of fur. Here's how I made mine for $1.
Materials needed:
-sample fur (I bought mine from ebay for $1 shipped)
-thick double sided tape (already had white 3M 5lb tape.. GoPro gray 3M tape is 25lb, which is overkill and harder to take off later)
You just cut and apply appropriately sized tape onto the skeleton housing (tape around the 2 holes), then cut and apply backing-sized sample fur. Just make sure the 2 holes are covered by the sample fur only. Done.
It works great for the money, 30 bucks? or so for the pro version. I do have issues but its mostly me not doing something right. I think I have it all figured out at home and screw it up at the track. You can see on the vid that the little G meter goes the wrong way for the direction of turn. I must have hit the orientation button at the wrong time so it thought I was upside down.
That was the first time at a known track so it was cool having all the points built in for splits. That's pretty impressive. I just eyeballed mine since I don't have proper timing equipment and my fastest lap was around 2:10-11 as well.

I think I found my brake vibration. Looks like my right front rotor is warp by almost a .10 of an inch, factory spec is .0014 runout. The left was out of spec also but not by much.
Its Rotors and brake pads for Christmas, I am going to need a heavy duty stocking for the fireplace.

Stop spending money on car mods and spend them toward modding on your driving skills!
Man, lots of cool mods for everyone. My recent mods consisted of maintenance items, lol.

i will agree with you on driving skills.... i need to get out there. the only real reason that i am getting them is that cat cracked again and it is driving me crazy hearing it rattle. so screw it, going to take them off send the cracked on to Kinetix and try my hardest to get them to replace it and then offload them for about half what i paid for them
