I was always under the impression Alamo specialized in subaru wrx and even. Tony t1 racing is a well known tuner in the Honda world. Are they all the same? Srs question.

Nexx thought you sold the z a while back. You still got the g37?

I end up buying that impact driver from auto zone for like 10$. Worked like a charm.

We discussed cabin filters when working on Chris's Z right? I thought the consensus was Z's didn't have them. Reason I ask is Phill just said the dealer said he needs a cabin filter change. Either way I wouldn't have them do it since it's pretty simple to do.

Good luck with finding the problem. More then likely a faulty oil pump.
Could be your oil pressure sending unit

Either way dealer says there is an issue. Also a noise at idle, like a knocking sound. These two make for a bad combo. We are working out a resolve. He has been nice about everything, whole thing is just very unfortunate.

Also unfortunate is that this is basically the car I have been looking for, for a long time. White GT w/ Brembo and Rays.
I can't remember what mine is at idle when its not pegged but it's right at 60 or a little in front at 3k rpm.

Took the car back to him yesterday. Oil light came on a few days ago for a second, oil level was fine, and who knows what the issue was. Dealer said oil pump and also thought there was some work needed with the timing chain guides.

Flew back home from Ohio last night. Was a mess yesterday. He ran into some personal issues, and I got stuck in Ohio for hours wandering bc of this, no backup plan really on his end, and a family member came and gave me a ride to the airport. Didn't even see the guy again. I got it for a good price but this giant headache flying back, driving the car back to him 4 hours from another part of the Mid West, and all the expense was a giant waste of time and aggravation on my end. It's too bad. The car had a plethora of tiny issues, these major ones, but it was exactly what I'd looked for, just not the right car. Hopefully this check clears, he gets it's fixed, makes his additional money and everyone is done.

I enjoyed my DE's more than the HR though the HR definitely felt more powerful out of the box. I've driven multiple properly running HR's over time as well. Just personal preference. Seems the DE is also more aurally pleasing to me as well. Don't confuse that one. Lol.

Splain. Lol.

Looks like I'm not the only one the dealer wasn't honest with: http://fox8.com/2012/09/24/police-mo...oesnt-deliver/

HR has two intakes, therefore double the air, double the fuel, and double the power. Seems legit.
