Mckinney guys, anyone needs t-clamp? I'm going to pick up some clamps from addison tomm morning, let me know I can pick up extra and you guy can pick it up from my work or can meet up after work somewhere. I think 2.50? For 3 1/4 size. Not bad deal.

Best diagram I've seen yet. Thanks. I talked to a guy on the FX site, and it sounds like the plug might be reversed polarity wise. So next time I take the front end apart I will try flipping the plug. It also sounds like I had an extra wire I didn't need that might be complicating things. I know people have said they needed to flip the plug with this kit in other applications.

I appreciate the offer, but it honestly might take longer to drive to and from your house compared to me just wrestling with it myself. Plus I know you aren't as familiar with the FX as the Z. I tried to go the route of taking off the front bumper but that didn't work, so I ended up taking out the fender wells to get to the foglights. It also made it easier to mount the ballasts. I found out afterwards that this left perfect access to the headlights, but I had already swapped HID bulbs. But ya, I got everything all plugged in (it sounds like I did it right) and it didn't work, so I just have to try again. At least now I know how to take everything apart easily.

Not sure what's so hard about it, should be plug and play, unless the kit just sucks.

Oh snap! I think I have a buyer for my feeler pieces already. I'm actually so torn about what to do.

Should I sell the pieces and save up money or should I keep them for now and maybe even install them?

I didn't try this when I was testing them out, but from what I have heard, sometimes the polarity is switched and you have to plug them in what seems to be the wrong way to get it to work.

I need to check the schedule for the drag strip. I might down for going sometime soon, but not until after this weekend, since it's graduation. Are they open during the summer? I'll have lots of time in 2 weeks.

My favorite front lip is the Varis one (I also like their sides and rears) and then it's the Top Secret one. Still, if I don't have all other pieces (sides and rear), then I'm not going to bother putting on any at all. If I keep my current pieces, then I'll get a front lip down the line.

I was supposed to go today, but I had too much gas in my car. I'll be there by 6 o'clock (when it opens) tomorrow (Friday, 22nd) to race. You going?

Here it is actually wired up, but it still won't light. I don't want to cut it up to splice the wires before I know I have to. I hope the pic resized.

Edit:Got it working, apparently the extra wire was needed after all, so I was right the whole time, just had the wires connected backwards.

I was until I noticed I had a nail on my front tire, I'm taking care of that right now, I may go tomorrow.

I had a nail in my rear tire also and got that fixed for free couple of days ago. Last time I went, I just wasted 4 hours waiting in line and whatnot to run just once, while spending about $50 in preparation for the race. I'm definitely going to burn some serious rubber tomorrow... hopefully.

How about a friendly race if you come?

BTW, the gates open at 6PM and they're open until 12AM. I'll be getting there just around the time they open as usual.

I noticed www.dallasraceway.com doesn't seem to work? It game some weird message like it was a security risk and defaulted to ihra.com or something. So I can't check their calendar right now.

All you need to know about the track is that today and tomorrow is the only test and tune day for the next week or two. All other events are actual drag racing and/or bracket racing.

Jason, get the Varis front lip and sides and sell me those when you get tired of them, along with the rear diffuser. That's my dream kit right there.
