Plus 80miles or however far it is from DFW area might not be far for some people but its pretty far to me, especially with the way the economy is anyways. The drag is pretty fun, adrenaline pumping is sick.
no one said it couldnt be driven fast and look pretty too.

looks like we are meeting up at starbucks and the southwest corner of campbell and 75 around 10pm and leaving around 10:15. even if you dont race, just think of it as a meet and cruise. enjoy the low 70's weather we are going to have that day.

lol, it wasn't too bad. At least the weather will be nice and it is cheaper this time.

Everybody should be able to get quite a few runs in.

Quick question, the previous owner of my car hit a few curbs and every rim has some damage. Should I paint the stockers or just leave it alone?

This has been bothering me for a couple months now.

That's kinda what I am thinking, I plan on getting new wheels in a couple months and these are already messed up.

This might give me something to do on Friday since I have the day off.

Don't do it, I have seen someone DIY fix curb rashes to where it looked oem again. Plus you'll ruin the resale value IMO. I'll try to find the thread later on.

Anybody got aftermarket lugs I can borrow?

PS. Here's the Article.

i think he is thinking about a DIY paint job. chipping is a possibility if you dont take your time and do a good quality job with the right prep, primer and paint job.

I use my car as a daily driver so I wouldn't be able to leave it on jack stands for a week.

It can be done overnight, but is not very cheap. Thinking of spraypainting them stockish color or soomething else?

If you do this yourself (and I don't suggest it)....just make sure you don't get any overspray on any of the suspension (if you know what I mean)
