This is a great idea for you to show people how to wash, clay, wax, and polish. But doing the whole car sounds easier said then done. If you are wanting to do your whole car get ready to buy a new set arms.

I'm going to add myself to this list, but for my fiancee's car and not mine. We just got her an '07 Altima. It's black and shows the signs of sitting in the California sun (dealership got it from a Cali dealer). I'd really like to take care of her paint real soon so this is perfect.

Remember, Mackie said 5 or 6 (maybe more).

At the moment, these are the people who showed interest in attending, in chronological order:
-StuLax18
-smcginnis87
-3hree5ive0ero
-Squeaky350
-Kristi
-JasonZ-YA
-d1mon3k
-AllstarE4

Maybe Mackie should make this a 2 day thing?

well i found out he lives really close to me, so i may just show up to this to hang out, and get my stuff done sooner. we were pm'ing earlier, and i never heard back from him at some point, so i dont know for sure, haha.

On another note, anyone done a DIY grounding kit? im thinking about doing it soon, just not sure if i have everything i need. i think i can buy everything at the home depot, but i might not have the tools needed to get wires done right.

If that happens, let me know. I might just try to come then, too.

Also, check the DIY section for the grounding kits.

I will probably just show up to watch and look at some different products. I will clean my car before and let everyone see what a black beauty it can be.

Chris,

How did I end up 8th on the list when I was the 5th one to add to the list? Showing interest in a post just doesn't cut it here, you gotta add to the list. That's almost as bad as putting "dibs" on some wheels in the marketplace. LOL

Seriously though, this would be good for alot of us to learn how to properly take care of our paint.

You're right, the list is out of order. I should be first since I was the first to say I'll show up.

Yeah, I agree. Mackie's done this enough times to teach all of us something new. I'm looking forward to it.

Funny how you guys are fighting over who's first and second and last. Either way it's not like you guys can't come and learn I don't think. It's not the first 5 gets there entire car polished. Unless Mackie feels like spending 5 days on them. I may come just to hang out and chill. Mackie needs to get in here there's going to be a catfight.

I'm interested. I won't bring a car to detail, mostly to watch and learn.
