I will honestly say he paved the way for forced induction in Brownsville and if it wasn't for him, I probably would of never gone FI. He knows/knew more on 350Zs than any of us probably every did. He was a sole pioneer in taking his 350Z to the limit (Literally). Through him we found that the stock DE block can handle up to 14 PSI on a Turbonetics kit. Through him Alex and I found out that pulling a tranny, engine, etc...... was possible without having to pay a mechanic. He DIY'd pretty much everything with his Z and inspired many (me included) in doing the same. It came to the point where he would have to spend thousands of dollars for a built block and different turbo kit plus many other components aside from his monthly payments to make his Z faster that the wise decision was to sell the car and buy something that would fill that void but was still under warranty and had the stunning looks. As well as having payments fitting his financial circumstances. Thats where the Z06 came and the 350Z no longer was. Of course he joined the corvette forums and began to neglect My350Z. He has always been very informative and 9 times out of 10 I bother him with advise before I make a final decision on some of my plans with the car. Thats why I hate to see this escalate to where it has cause both BLDG & Kez are good friends and I just ask of both of you guys to play nice. Sure theres a grudge now but Brownsville is small and we all hang out at the same places so lets just try and be civil to each other.

A Z06 is on a whole other level and Alex just wants be able to beat them (as long as they aren't cammed out and tuned w/headers and shizzzz. Don't take it to personal. Its more like a goal to shoot for. Just like me. My goal was to be able to beat your typical C6. I never had anyone in particular I wanted to beat, it just needed a something to shoot for and that level of performance was it. Can I beat a typical C6 who knows but someday I'll run into one and find out.

Peace

DRock

This is getting intense!
keep it down guys.........
btw my goal is to leave both alex and dave in the dust with my wrx!

went this past Friday for the 1st time. track was in horrible conditions due to the past week of rainfall. my best was a 14.4 @ 104mph with a 2.6 60ft and not be able to go full WOT till freaking mid 3rd gear.

the fastest 370 that night was a guy that usually runs 13.4s and he did a 14.1 at 107mph (intake/hfc's).

we're gonna go back in a month or so once it gets a little warmer and dryer.

here's a vid a friend took of me running a 335 coupe that in reality runs low 13s on a good night and ran a 14.9 lol

that 1-2 shift you can hear the car looking for traction. suks, i wasted 74 (37 to come and 37 to come back)miles to run crappy times cuz of the track.

That Blue G35 is Nelson. He is from Brownsville. I didn't get a chance to see his car run. Did any of you? What did it run. He told me he was on 5 psi. The weird thing was that he wasn't tuned or running any kind of EMS but were running the car on a gadget that lowers the voltage or something on the MAF. I'd never heard of any thing like that on our cars for FI. I wouldn't try it. There are way too many parameters that are involved in tunning and I don't think something that simple would be enough. But if it works and works well why not i guess. He said he is planning a build aswell and would consider an EMS then but for now, no.
