Default What do you think

Hey mike i had both k&n and aftermarket . Really for me the wolf tech pop charger seems alot better than the k&n. But now that i have the spacer i want to see if the k&n would work better than the wolf pop charger.

What do you think. Ive read here in the forum that both are good.

You can go both ways(that didn't come out right LOL) but on your engine it will benefit both. My engine, the only intakes that really make power is the injen cold air, but $500 is too much right now. Other than that, drop in work just fine.

Btw, my HKS drop ins were only $66 shipped

if you have a DE then the best intake out there would be the Stillen as it actually encloses the intake itself rather than letting it soak up the heat like the JWT.

Or you can get the z tube from stillen and hook up your stock airbox with the k&n and you can get nice results.

ive had almost every intake on my car and honestly best one was the kn drop in. you guys know how god damn hot it gets in the valley, and any open type intake is gonna hurt you more than it helps..especially in low end power. stay stock with kn or go stillen during summer, then switch out to a pop charger type when the weather cools.

Hey fabine, when you get your gears on the nismo, let me know so I can take a ride and see if I feel the difference. That way, if it is a big difference, then I can save for that.

i was looking into that but im going to wait. i think pulleys or headers would be the next thing on my list for the engine. but for sure going to lower it soon.

pulleys are a waste.........headers not much too without a tune......

my old car has intake,headers,hfc,exhaust,spacers........on the butt dyno around 5-10% acceleration

but with the 3.9gears instant 15% 1st-5th gears.
even on 5th it would still pull hard....
thats why my tires wont last long coz i spin 1st and 2nd even with 60-70%throttle....
IMHO guys.
