Thanks also because I didnt know baking them can make the rim weaker. I think I will just leave them silver or sell them for another style.

I don't understand man... a set of RPF1 is less than 1K and is an excellent rim for track use. right offset and very light.
if you use (and you should) a race or clubsport pad compound you're ending having so much crap on the rim (and some that you can't remove if not grind it out) that a nice design is pointless.

you should really have a shitload of money to put some RE30 or something like that for track abuse.

those are silver after few sessions.. they were clean before

btw, 17" 9.5 +18 all around.

I get your point, but I don't track the car at all and don't plan on doing it anytime soon. I just got them because of the price, lightness, offset, and width. Maybe some advans for my next style?

if you don't track it I don't see anything against powder coating.
on the road you'll never get any close to the stress you put on the rims on a road course.
but you know.. better safe than sorry.

Thanks bro, I will probably powdercoat them then.

Love the wheels, but I wouldn't run +15 offset...that's just me. 18 or 19" doesn't matter when it comes to offset unless you're running tiny tires that'll throw off your speedo & mileage.

The offset does play a factor due to my StopTech BBK. The closer the wheel and/or spokes are the chance I have of hitting the caliper.

Well half my wheel order arrived yesterday. Gonna call the vendor today to locate the other half. I'll get pics of the 18x10.5's soon.

Had Discount Tire mount the 275/40's on the 10.5's. They do stick out but have about 1" of height clearance. I'll post pics later. Still waiting on the 9.5's.

they really made a mess with your order... can't believe you cannot get your wheels in almost 2 months.

to me sounds like ********.
they were delivering wheels to vendors and if you ask around they have 9.5.

at this point I'd ask to your vendor to get a damn set of 9.5 from whenever he can and have it shipped to you or talk with the CC company and reverse the payment.

come on.. we are talking about 1K pretty common wheels...

not some custom offset, custom color, custom design volks.

hmm, what offset 17s will clear the brembos? I just ordered a set of 17x9 +22 and 17x10 +18. I originally ordered 17x9.5 + 18 offset because I heard it works but the place where i got it from is outta stock.
