Good morning everyone, today I have a bit of a question for you.
If there was a new local dealer in town, that sold just about everything you could ever possibly need for your, 350z/370z, or even your Camaro, Corvette, or GT-R, what would he have to do to earn your business? We all purchase items for our Z's from this and maybe other forums wide range of exceptional vendors, but if one where to -

- Open in Dallas
- Refuse to be undersold
- Special order any item desired
- Respond to all of your questions and needs in record time
- Organize events for the community
- And last but not least, the owner was someone that you have all meet, and talked with on several occasions

What else would he have to do to get your business? what parts are you most interested in getting for your vehicle? Please let me know so we can better serve you in this endeavor, and we can all have much lower, faster, and louder Zs

 

Are you trying to open some sort of performance parts shop? The online community is very tough to compete in as far as pricing. It's tough for mom/pops/local shops to beat online deals since for the most part they do not have the middle man..

 

I have a dealers license with over 100 companies, and even more on the way in the audio video side of everything, it is going to be a strictly online performance parts company for at least the next 2 years, I am still a couple of months off from opening, but YES!!!!! and for now I am conducting market research.

And don't worry about me being able to hang with the big boys, I am more than capable.

But for now I am trying to find out, what, other that price, I could do to earn your business.

 

I would love a local shop where I already knew people there and who would be willing to get me any item, within reason. Price is also a plus.

 

That would be pretty awesome if you can hang with the big boys..I hate waiting for ups/fedex for my items and scaring that it would come in pieces.

 

this would be an online business only for at least the next 2 years, my cell would always be available for any help or questions though, and i would be sure to have monthly events for the community though as well.

 

But shipping can't be that expensive, or are you shipping straight from the manufacturer? Either way, local and good prices are two important things.

 

I am considering doing overnight shipping for the price of normal shipping, what do yal think?

 

That would be sick.. what about for the locals, even though you said strictly a internet/online business only. You will not be having items in stock right (everything will need to be ordered?). Would be nice to be able to pick up items from a local shop same day within same prices as online.

 

After a bit of time, I will at least have a warehouse, so once I do, I will have have many items "instock" so to say and yes local pick up will be available

 

So how much for a Stillen z-tube shipped to me?

Ya, I thought so. Do you have any timeline set up yet?

 

I will open by January 1st, hopefully sooner, I have been working on this since January this year and I am just making sure that I have as solid of a foundation as possible before I open.

 

So come on guys, what kind of upgrades are we looking for? I am already planning a limited grand opening UNBELIEVABLE Twin Turbo sale when I open, maybe even some single turbos. What might you be interested in?

 

Intake probably for me. Possibly the GTspec STB if it's findable. I tend to mod slowly over time. If I go through with the Cobb stuff, I would want an intake and exhaust first before the tune.

 

i would be interested in a GT Spec Strut bar or ARC Strut bar for my 04 g35 ...if I could maybe even get a Motordyne Exhaust if you are able.
