Ah, so Abilene. Congrats on the move, I guess, and welcome to TX (when you do move down here).

I think Abilene is about 2 hours from the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, so you should be able to attend some meets.

I am leaving Md on the 28th I think I'm going to stop in Memphis, crater of diamonds state park in Arkansas, and then head over to Abilene. I should be there by the 31st. ish. I'm up for meets in Dallas, I've been there 4 or 5 times, its' a pretty cool area.

Well it's good you're doing well now...and you should see the area Whiteman AFB is around....old white trash. The town I live in is called **** Noster and it has a population of something around 692 non-military citizens.

This happens when you're stationed with the B-2 Spirit and really big bombs

Post up in the DFW Lounge thread. I'm sure one of us will start a new meet in preparation for a new local. Plus, you're already cool in my book since you drag race (and you're good too!).

BTW, who's your HS sweetheart (just curious if he's on the forum, if you don't want to say the name)?

Ah, I was just checking to make sure it wasn't somebody else - thanks.

BTW, mathematics and physics (all science and numbers) are awesome - don't make fun.

I was kidding. It's good to see you still on the forums even after the accident and good to hear you're coming to TX. I personally like the eastern states, but TX isn't too bad and the people here are pretty cool.

I'm about 20 min from there in Frederick. I don't think i'm going to miss it here, but I will probably miss being so close to the beach.

If you drive like 120 mph all the way...j/k

Only if you like Rednecks...then you'll be OK.

Welcome to TX....Don't get used to the weather...because it'll change in an instant.

BTW....I guess nobody wants to tell you......but I think you need to post pics of yourself ( nude if possible ) for the DFW crew.

Where I used to live in TX, we'd get snow every year, just not too much and not very often. Where I am now, we see snow once every year or two. Where you're going, you'll meet people who have never seen snow.

Good, I HATE the snow... and the cold for that matter. Snow's good for one thing: Donuts without burning rubber off.

and getting in accidents...

i was sliding right into a busy intersection with my wheels locked (full braked) and only going 20MPH with nothing to think about other than how much this is going to suck when i get into traffic's way...

fortunately enough... i came to a stop just a few feet before i entered the intersection... first thought afterwards... "That was fun"
