Been lurking for a while - I need a favor.
Anybody have a Motive Power Bleeder?
I tried to bleed to slop out of my clutch (I have a carbonetics triple plate - nice and stiff...but mushy and doesn't return fully when cold).
Now I have no pedal whatsoever. Effed it up good - and after reading JaysonZ's posts in the DFW side of this forum - the Motive unit is a must have for my car. It's a 2005, and it has the loop and the stupid orifice in the wheel well. Gravity and normal bleeding didn't cut the mustard.
Right now it is sitting in my roommates shop (he has a classic car shop which is helpful). He doesn't have the power bleeder because he primarily works on classic mustangs and stingray vettes - which bleed with no problem.
If I can't find one, I'll bite the bullet and just buy one, and look at is saving money for when I splurge on a BBK (after wheels and engangement ring).

I know Stogey said something over on the 350zmotoring forums about meeting up with a couple of people at the Hooters at 45 and 1960 on Saturday evening then rolling out. Not sure what time he was talking about rolling out exactly since he will probably be working Saturday, but maybe he will chime in some time today or tonight saying when they planned on meeting.

eh, I don't want to through down on some pads and then 3 weeks later turn around and take them off.
I'm going to have to suck it up anyways. The parts house didn't have the seal kits in stock or near by so It'll be monday before I get anything....oh well...Still will make it out. Just be in the truck.
I used to live in Houston...I miss it soooooo much

I broke down and got some seals for the calipers, some cheap-o pads, and turned the old rotors one last time. It'll be drive able for the event!!!!

As long as you aren't this guy then *Da1Girl* is safe ... Pasadena teacher sexually assaulted a 14 year old ... sad part about it is he drives a 350z and bought my old wheels ... lots of 350zmotoring.com guys know him too ... fuggin digusting
