+1! I once heard/read that for every 1 lb of unsprung weight saved it like losing 25 lbs of total vehicle weight. So saving 8 lbs of unsprung weight is like saving 200 lbs off the vehicle.

you guys win the great 18 for go 19 for show debate, even though forged performance uses my exact same wheels on their time attack GTR and 370Z. whats better for drinking can, bottle, or mug?

Clearly the lesser heat transfer rate of a thick mug is far superior....

20 minute debate ensues..

I will never drink from a can

Bottles or mugs, just really depends on what they have on tap versus in the bottle

And I would, but I already started cooking dinner....Next week I'm in 100%

The funny side about supercars is that either the Porsche 997 cup and cup rs come with 18" wheels compared to the street versions gt3 and gt2
Ferrari challenge exactly in the same way even if they are putting 20" under the 458
On the street they look way better, but try to hit a rumble strip at 120mph or even a light bumpy offtrack at slower speed and even if superstrong your rim will bend.
Higher sidewall on the tires is beneficial in these events.
I have on video at tws a cayman s spinning in front of me losing the rear end as soon as he touches a curb. I was touching it all day long without any issue at all.

it did i recall the video, all of mateo's vids are inspirational if you dont mind the sound of his single exhaust he used to run(music to my ears) and i dont disagree with you there, look at JGTC or time attack and you wont see any low pro tires all are meaty

Ok, now to go completely off topic. Cornell, those pumas you had, did the heel on them slip for a while after you bought em? Did they break in proper?

Too bad the cayman is a midship engine. Theoretically the perfect solution for a driver car. Actually it's a really easy car to drive fast because is so well balanced the will do exactly what you want.
Going back to my point... Unless someone is a real pro he won't be able to use the potential additional grip and reactivity of a super low profile tire at high speed and it will bite you in the ****.

Btw I like beer in the glass and hooters at Kirby and 59 has some pretty fine *****

First post, nice ta meet ya and stuff.

Cornell, we have a meet every Saturday evening behind Chick-fil-a/ in front of Home Depot in Kemah. We have a group of everything. Stock, Bolt Ons, Supercharged and TT. We also have a nice GTR that graces us with his presence from time to time. We had our meets at the Hooters on I-45 South all of last year but it was shut down by friggin' Rooms to Go.

The Kemah show is mostly domestic, but we showed up in force this past Saturday. Around 20 Z's showed up this time. Most went to a bar after wards for food and X Games and it's one kick *** group of people.

You're welcome anytime.

Edit- It's probably been mentioned in this thread, so sorry if it's a re-post. I'm not reading from page one.
