Default Performance parts installers in DFW?

Who does a good quality installation of the superchargers (and other performance parts) in the DFW area for the Z? I know of Redline in Arlington, but is there anyone else recommended who does quailty installs? Also, what is the time frame of a supercharger installation? I'm going to give in and get one, but I want to get your all's opinion first.

Thanks,

-Bryan

You could go to Grubbs Nissan in Bedford/Euless. They're the ones who are doing installs before someone takes delivery and giving the s/c the same warranty as the car.

I'm sure it's gonna be more expensive for the install, but you could see about maybe keeping your warranty?

Grubbs Infiniti actually is the ones doing the installs. Go speak w/ Carvey Parker in parts for pricing. Just tell him you're from Fresh Alloy and he should give you better pricing than a guy walking in from the street. ( www.freshalloy.com )

Grubbs Infiniti did mine (350Z) for $6k turn key. It only took them a day and a half. I dropped the car off in the morning and they had it ready for me to pick up the followining evening. They even gave me a G35 as a free loaner while they did the work.

Now you could get it done cheeper but wouldn't get the kind of warranty they would give you. That to me is worth at least $1k.

PM me if you are serious and I will give you all the details needed to get the job done right.

Looks like a procharger right? Are they honoring the factory warranty 36K? Is it in writing?

Is that just install, or does that include the blower?

He said $6000 turn key, which means all parts, install, and tuning.

Everyone is busy doing all these supercharger upgrades, and worrying about the cost.

You people DO realize you'd better be doing a brake upgrade too...right? So figure in another couple of bills for that.
At the VERY minimum, new hi-performance brake pads !

It's fun to accelerate and go fast...
but's it's serious, when it's time to haul all them horses in !!!

Yeah, also a word to the wise...don't go w/ FI unless you have the money to replace/rebuild your motor if anything happens to go wrong.
