Default Alignment worries...

hey guys,

Im fixing to lower my Z and im worried about getting it aligned with the 19's on there. Do yall recomend i take off the wheels and put the stockers back on to get it aligned or leave them on. I'm worried they may damage the wheels and id rather the stockers get damaged.

Also you might have to roll your rear fenders if your drop is substantial enough.

Jake or Jason can it for you.

How are they going to damage your wheel from doing an alignment? They're going to just going to put the sensors on each wheel than everything else is computerized. If they do damage it I'm sure they'll replace it for you.

^ peeps get all bent out of shape because the sensors have metal fingers that they have to physically push into the rim lip and tire..

OP, in all honesty, the best thing you can do is take some Blue painters tape and be there to wrap the tips before they put the sensors on......... i have seen peeps do this...

Thanks for the advice . And yes I am worried about them scratching up my purdddddy wheels, specially with the 5inch lip in the back. Im sure they would replace the wheel or fix them, but thats just a headache id rather avoid if possible.

I'm probably the most OCD/nitpicky **** on earth (I know J/Jake or one of the others will come in here vouching) and I had no problems with them throwing the alignment sensors on my wheels. Unless you get some idiot who has extremely shakey hands like he's having a seizure putting them on...you honestly should not have any problems.
