Default Veilside Lip (Houston)

Hope everyone's Z's in Houston didn't get flooded in yesterday's crazy weather. I'm looking for a good place in Houston to get the Veilside urethane front lip. May even consider a good knock-off version but was hoping not to pay the $300 price tag on Veilside's web-site. Any suggestions?

Don't think you're going to be able to snag one of those here in Houston.

If you do find one, let me know. I've also had my eye on it.

just an FYI the price on the Urethane will be increasing very very soon to similar prices of the FRP version. The $300 price is an introductory price.

$300 for a lip is a very good price, especially urethane.

Yea that rain was amazing. Just when I thought it could not rain harder.....then it would start raining harder............then even harder. I watched the water get to about 4 inches under my car. Bottom of my tires and rims disappeared. I left early and took the Beltway home and I could not see 10 feet in from of the car. Everyone had there hazards on and were driving 20mph. I was just worried about my Ingen CAI taking in water. So far no problems.

Dude, dont go driving around with a CAI when it rains like that. What looks like 1 foot of water could be much deeper if there was a pot hole hidding under all the water. I lost my Integra B18B to about a foot and a half of water when a F150 blasted past me and shot a wave of water under my hood and into my AEM CAI. If i was you, id just rack up some points playing card games on Yahoo. ;-) Oh, better yet, put the stock airbox back in. Its a good design and works to put "cold air" into the filter.

kbomb,

Are you sure that is the correct name? Their website looks like a place that sells cycles & ATV's and it's some place in Tucker GA.
Did you pay $255 shipped?
