I just want to post to say I was there a year ago to get a tune and it's the best mod I have ever done for my Z...

Does JTran have a Dallas TX location?

I am located in East Texas, and have a check engine light most likely due to the GTM test pipes, and was wondering if a tune would fix the issue?

Not that I know of... I have family in Houston so I was down there anyway. If your CEL is either coming from from running too lean or the o2 sensors. I know the uprev osiris (which is one of the systems JTran uses) has DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) disable so you can prevent codes from being sent.

I have heard conflicting reports to whether or not this will allow your car to pass inspection but I have heard if you get a CEL you fail the inspection, and blocking the DTC = no CEL = pass inspection Bottom line was with my HFC I had a CEL that would have failed inspection, after tune no CEL and no problem passing inspection... I went ahead and turned that DTC off but I also corrected my A/F ratio so its hard to tell which one fixed my problem and I am HFC not test so I should have been able to pass anyway. If I ever blow out a cat I will go test pipes (or if I am lucky long tube headers) and get a retune and then see if I can still pass inspection. (If I fail I'll just get the XYZ pipe with the cat midpipe)
