Default Who can set up a group dyno in Houston?

I was just wondering who could organize a group dyno day in Houston? If no one wants to, I could possibly try. What are some good places to do this and what brand of dynoes do you guys prefer?

2 good places to try is RSI or MTI, they have held group dynos in the past.

I've been going to Carboy on Bissonet for my dynos. Regular price is $75 for three pulls. You can add air/fuel data for a few $$$ more.

3 pull with a/f for 35$ is good ... usually they will do a base rate with that for like 1-15 ppl, then as the amount of people increase, so does the rate.

i could get a few s2000 guys to come out for this, too, if we will end up needing more people.

Fairlady Z is from Allen, TX.

If I'm not mistaken, Allen is North of Dallas. That wouldn't work for us Houston folks.

So, we're still looking I guess.

We've got a member (we, being the Z Club of Houston), who is one of the owners of SGP Racing, webpage: http://www.sgpracing.com/
They are installing a Dynopack Dyno...which is supposed to be the latest and greatest in dyno technology.
They said they're still a couple of months away from having it ready, but when they are, we're planning a full day's event there.

We've already got it set up to have a tour of their facilities.
We've made arrangements with Trey Pool of Dealer Dent Services to take care of any dents you might have acquired (and at a very special price).
We're planning on having a Bar-B-Que caterer come in to feed the masses.
...and by the time it gets here, who knows what else we'll have scheduled !
Anybody interested?

Thats funny, I dropped by SGP last week and asked Kyle if they could do a group dyno. He said they where a few months off on setting up their own dyno. I hope my visit had pushed them along. The only small problem they might have with a group dyno day is, they are considering a chassis dyno, and that its more accurate, but requires the drive wheels to be removed and attached to the dyno. Its going to be a bit slower to set up I guess, but as long as its more accurate, im happy. Count me in.

Here is a silly question, how do FF cars get onto a dyno compared to FR cars? Do they just sit on the dyno backwards? The reason i was wondering cause there are alot of RSX/Tegs/Civics in Houston. Maybe I could get some ppl from those forums.

You back you car in, I (being a Accord owner) drive mine in. After that it's prety much all the same. The dyno is ignorant of front or rear wheel drive.
