Sterling McCall Nissan out on 59 S. (Airport Exit) will be the place to be !
We'll be having our Z Extravaganza 2
There will be trophies, a SUPER-cool raffle (with lots of Nismo
stuff being donated by S.M.), and lots more. The best part is that 100% of the proceeds go to our favorite charity, the Houston Food Bank. Entry fee is $20, and canned foods are encouraged, cash donations will also be accepted.

In the board room at Sterling McCall Nissan...

At our pre-show meeting, when they announced that they would be offering all parts 35% off, we asked that same exact question..."Nismo too?"
His response was " EVERYTHING 35% off"
...and to make the deal even sweeter, they told us they are going to donate quite a few items for our raffle, which will be going on throughout the day !

I am literally SCREAMING at our webmaster to update our website (www.zcar.org).
...but until he does, the hours are:
registration - 10am till 12noon,
judging from 12 till 2pm,
with awards around 3pm.
We plan to wrap up and close down around 5pm.

 

....I'll be able to make it then! Might have to split a little early for work though. (not too early)

 

This just in...

....at the end of the Z Extravaganza 2, for those of us that aren't ready to call it a day (or can't get there till late),
we're planning on caravaning down 59S to "the Fountains".

I've been told that on Saturday Nites, OTTO'S has a car gathering.
I'm not even a little knowledgable about this, but it sounds like fun. Imagine 40-50+ Nissans/Z Cars all pulling in together

We're planning on having our awards presentation around 3pm in air-conditioned comfort in the Used Car Dept. Showroom there at Sterling McCall Nissan.
After that, we'll do the quick cleanup thing and head down that way.

Went by Sterling McCall Nissan today to make sure that things are still under way for this weekend.
The place was literally "abuzz" with excitement about the car show this weekend.

One of the guys showed me a special prize that they had just gotten for the raffle.
Seems like Jose' Cruz (Sr.) (former Houston Astro) bought a car there yesterday.
While he was there, one of the guys got him to autograph a 350Z Shirt...cool !!!

Weatherman says it's gonna rain....it's a car show, isn't it supposed to?

Rain ?? My sources indicate a dry weather pattern following all participants who are going to converge on this event. IF you happen to run across a few raindrops, there will be space for last minute spit and shine. The show goes on...rain or shine!

 

i hope it doesnt rain ... ill be there either way, but according to channel 2, it doesnt look so good
