Hill Country Drive Saturday April 17, 2004

Details for the drive have been finalized. The meeting location will be at the top floor of the parking lot of Shepherd Mountain Plaza at 6034 W. Courtyard Drive, Austin, Texas 78730. At 6034 W Courtyard Drive, turn right onto the driveway that leads to the Plaza and then continue past it until you reach the parking lot.

We will meet at 9:00am and head out promtply at 9:30am. Details and maps of the actual drive will be passed out at the meeting spot. The drive will take us through the west and northwest hill country and will be approximately 180 miles. Final destination will be Margarita's Restaurant by Seward Junction for a late lunch.

Please make sure you have a full tank of gas and are ready to head out a 9:30am. If you have an FRS radio, we will use those to comunicate during the drive. Due to the unfamiliarity of some of the roads, it is suggested that you bring a co-pilot to help navigate.

 

For those not doing the Rally, this should be a good day of driving.
