btw, Shaun aka Moroccan_Mole should've won it imo. He's the one with DB Z and Carbon Fiber hood.. it looks very mean!

he told me two regular Z won 1st and 2nd, which is like "STock"..

Guess it depends on your definition of "Stock". None of the top 3 350's were stock by any stretch of the imagination.

In any case, winning is not predicated on the number of mods one has.

Shaun probably should look at his judging sheet to see where he lost points. What'ya think?

Judging was done by the ZCCA rules - - this means cleanliness - -

I won first place in the 350Z class. Like Nisslow02 mentioned, the show was judged by ZCCA rules which means how clean the car is not by the mods it has.

I looked at Shaun's car and agree it does look nice and mean, but I did observe several blemishes and some areas that were not spotless so that's probably where he lost points. Review the judges sheet and look at their comments and where they took points off to see where you can improve for the next show.

One thing that hurts the 350Z's in this type show, is the lack of participation from 350Z owners. That's why they are all lumped into one class at most shows. If we had more participation, they would be able to break the class down to stock, modified, ultra modified, etc.

With that being said, we have scheduled our annual show in Round Rock for Saturday September 18, 2004. This should give y'all plenty of time to get ready for it. We will have a stock and modified 350Z class so you'll have a better chance of taking home a trophy.
