Is that sarcasm?
The Rx-7 is actually a really good drift car outta the box supposedly.
Everyone should go and support TopicsII in his 350Z! He went all the way to the finals against the 300 thousand dollar Mopar sponsored Dodge Viper.
I'd say that being second place next to that Viper isn't too bad.

Just looking at US or JDM market for Nissan for the past 20 years, you can list off a dozen great drift cars, and variations of the same model for drift cars. You then look at Mazda and you have one, the RX-7, out of the box only the last gen would really be capable, and that is debateable.
I think it's cool that a big name car maker is sponsoring, don't get me wrong, it can only help. It's just that it seems like Ferrari sponsoring a drag racing event or something

I disagree right there. Only thing outta Nissan that is a good drifter outta the box is the 350Z. The second gen RX7 and 3rd are awesome drifters outta the box. The second gen RX7 even comes with a clutch LSD to boot! The 240sx we got has a crappy truck engine and is so watered down.
