It's time to stop braggin' and start draggin' !!!

Due to:
1) repeated requests
&
2) how much fun we had last year

We're going to Houston Raceway Park, May 20th (Thurs. nite), for their Import Race Nite (4 & 6 cylinders only).
This is not an official Z Club of Houston Event, but we'll be there with our little group, kickin' tires and kickin' butts !

We would like to invite all Z Car Owners to come and hang with us. Who knows, maybe you might need some help, or better yet, maybe you can help us !!!

If the weather is good, I will try to be there... Need to get my 1/4mile time before I buy the plenum to compare

 

Sounds like a plan! I'll mention it on another board that has some Z's to see what they think.

 

If I can convince a friend of mine with a 280 to come with, I will do my best to show up and try and improve my time.

 

Don't forget tonight is the night.

Looks like the weather is gonna hold up and be decent (for a change). Humidity is gonna be high, and evening temperatures will be down...which all makes for better times.

Should be a fun night to come out and play.

It was kind of strange though...everyone was fairly friendly, but not too interested in hanging out. Everybody kind of kept to their own little groups. Oh well...

Hope we can do this again soon !
Even with the Smurfmobile running really nappy, I still had a great time !

Yea, I kind of had to move from group to group trying to talk with everyone.

I will be out there again on June 3rd. Trying to improve my time. I know my stocker has a better time in her. I am convinced!

 

I'll be leaving for the International Z Car Convention in Long Beach, California on the 9th, so I won't be able to make it on the 6th. We're leaving early to go see "the mouse" while we're out there, so I'll be spending waaay too much money !

The Z Club of Houston is making a bid to host the '06 Convention, and if we get it, we're planning on renting the track for our exclusive use one evening. Now THAT should be a hoot !!!

You don't have to be a club member to go. It is open to anyone with an interest.

You will see more trick zhit than you thought possible.
Every year, I go and get so inspired that I want to come home and tackle one of my Z's with a cutting torch and a can of bondo

There are several groups caravaning out to this year's convention (this year it's in Long Beach, Ca.). If you are interested, contact me and I'll hook you up with one of the groups that are going.
