Default ******* Texan in Grapevine

Went there last night. It was unreal, I tried not to let my jaw hit the ground as I walked in.

Definately no expenses spared in there, as soon as I walked in, I smelled the leather from all the new recliners in the front lobby area. The place is HUGE, I got kind of a tour so I saw some cool stuff that you might not know or notice right away. For example, it is air conditioned inside (of course), but they have huge fans up top to make a breeze inside, makes it feel more like outside...I didnt even notice at first, just felt like I was outside!

And the sports bar is sooooo smooth, plasmas and projections all over the place. There is a back room with cigars and leather recliners and a "virtual golf" course (like the club tester at nicer sports stores).

Anyhow, I was impressed.

I think it's a big resort type thing with restaurants, bar, hotel? Not sure, but if I'm correct, it's the huge complex that I see when riding my mountain bike on Grapevine lake...

It's a failed Grand Old Oprey (sp?). I'm glad it ended up as what it is now, though. I hear it's amazing.

Yeh, we did some consultation and some programming to their lighting control system, CRESTRON automation system,etc... It is a Resort hotel with walkways, thater, ball rooms, restaruants/bars, and a whole lotta other engagements you can join like horse back riding, and there is even a mariachi (sp?) walking around playing and singing.. it IS quite breath taking place. Ya'll must go check it out. they have daily free tour guidwe there for new comers.
