I've heard good things about Grubbs Nissan. And they are a licensed Vortech installer so it is warrantied when they install it.

Sort of. Basically I was told it is a normal reaction of the MAF to do it. I shouldn't have done what I did to make the car die (I was screwing around). I was just befuddled as to why it would do that. I called JWT and they explained it.

Oh well I guess. I wonder if a SC will make the car not do it

Don't know how close you are to Albuquerque, but "Speed Dreams" does installs. They are a registered dealer with Avalon, have "Split Second" R4 program and dyno.

cat2102, it might be something you would want to do yourself? Do you already have the Vortech kit? If not, go to the Vortech site and look at the install manual. It is very staight forward. Just make sure you have all the tools before starting. The most nervous part was tapping the oil drain. Did get someone to help with the the wiring. Once you have everything at your finger tips, figure 3-4 day. I believe there is another "GIRL" on this site and ZChickz.com that installed her Vortech.

Yes! YOU! Those pic's of Christi were staged.... You will get a lot of satisfaction out of doing it yourself. You will be tired...but it comes from the enjoyment of doing it yourself. PM Christi...ask her thoughts. She actually has pic's on that other site, doing other things to her "Z" and wearing a ....
