From what I've read, the ECU can't "un-learn" the override controls of the Unichip, i.e. It can't learn to ignore Unichip. I plugged and played mine a month ago, but I still need to find a Unichip tuner.

The Unichip is a piggyback and is not teaching the ECU anything it just simply adds or subtracts from what the ECU puts out, so if the ECU goes into granny mode the Unichip will still make the same changes, the Unichip doesn't know that the ECU changed "modes" and continues to add or subtract the same amounts.
