Is the UTEC grounded as mentioned here: https://my350z.com/forum/showpost.ph...2&postcount=47 (pic of where: https://my350z.com/forum/showpost.ph...9&postcount=80 )
Does the car operate fine with the UTEC out?
Are both the switches on the TurboXS logo side of the unit in the proper direction (towards the large harness connector)?
Does the check engine light come on? Do you have an aftermarket intake?

I'll do the "talking" for him:
1. yes, UTEC is grounded as suggested;
2. yes, the car runs just fine without the UTEC;
3. don't know, will ask;
4. CEL come on with P0103 error code;

Do the following things:
1) Make sure the UTEC Switches are in the Proper position. With the UTEC in the upright position both toggle switches should be down or away from the TurboXS Logo.
2) Check the Plug and Play Connectors. It is very easy to have the rubber gromet bind and cause an improper connection.
3) If all of these items are ok. Try to run the UTEC in stock mode. If the vehicle does not run properly, return the UTEC to your dealer.
This also assumes you have grounded your UTEC properly.
Thanks,
Jermaine~

Will check toggle switches. UTEC has been properly grounded as per your indication. bear in mind that the car wouldn't start with the UTEC on, even though it had been running for over a week. so I had to disconnect it in order to start the car. I think *** is really disappointed...
