Default UTEC Map help

I'm trying to build a 93 Oct, N/A map extrapulated from the following data. I could really use some help here. I've included an edited CIPHER log, if anyone would care to view it and give advice I'd really appreciate it.

If it makes any difference, I currently have the following mods. Strup headers, UR HFCs, NISMO cat-back, Injen CAI. Our average daily temp is 100 for now.

Thanks again,

Rick

I appreciate the help, the log is not formatted correctly. Don' t pay attention to the placement of the column titles they're way off. Look at the data and count, columns 4,5,7,8. 4 & 5 are wideband voltage. Which I can't correct to ratio because I can't find the formula. Column 7 is RPM, and 8 is timing BTDC.

Perhaps I should get the tuner just for this reason.

I just might get the tuner. I thought since I have an 05' which already has widebands that the UTEC would log this data without a tuner. The only thing i get A/F ratio wise from the UTEC is "RICH". Like that helps..

I followed the thread between you two. I even tried the map you posted. Sadly, the RPM climbed much slower and then fell on it's face at 6,000. Are you guys installing the 02 bung at the "Y"? I seen some people do this but questioned the accuracy because it's so far downstream. I guess it's time to add more weight to the Z.

dont add any more weight!!! hehe

no , i put the bungs at the top of the test pipes on the driver side. both sides read almost the same, but reported that driver side runs a little leaner..

my map runs pretty rich in everyones cars, im sure its cause i ported out my lower runner and some other top secret things so i had more air going in...

As for your map, I figured it was something like that. I suspect that once I put the R-tune cams (sitting in the garage) in, your map would better suit my needs. As for the weight, I can't breakout out the saw . This is still my DD. Since I have your mad genuis minds' attention, do you know the formula for converting the 02 voltage to A/F ratio? I've must have read through 45 google searches and came up with nothing useful.

Just so everyone knows, Cipher will compute AFR via WB 1 & 2. You have to select it under options and answer a few questions, like WB part numbers (already in there) and ECU part number, which comes up when you connect to vehicle anyway.

I got a friendly reminder from UpRev this morning about that option. Sorry I confused anyone with all my nonsense.

Ken...A BIG thanks you for all your help!
