Dude what are you talking about! You cant change the way the UTEC works within an external GUI.

The way that target a/f works in other programs and the way it pretty much has to work is that you specify the desired target a/f within each cell across the load points similar to the logging display. It gives you an intuitive way to specify what you want and see what you have versus where you want to be.

Thumbs up

Sounds like a great idea Ken

Like others have said, the target A/F would be a great feature. And something that is all around more pleasing to the eye, would be nice aswell.

The interface is being written as I type this so the more info, realistic would be nice the better..

Let the posting begin!

BTW,

Thank You for contributing!

Thank You..

Basically I would like to do whatever we can do in Hyperterminal, add a few nice little features and like you said, make it more pleasing to the eye.. Not really trying to reinvent the wheel..

Sweet!!!!

Ken if you can add a target A/F and read from the OEM widebands you'll be a GOD in my eyes.

Keep my posted if you need a beta tester.

Soooo... I'm assuming this is a 3rd party effort, no? Or are you actually with turboxs?

Just curious because I sent an email to turboxs last week inquiring about some features and I was told that all of my requested features were presently planned, but had no ETA due to work on a new GUI.

If this is a 3rd party effort, do you have any interest in moving this to the open-source world?

They have been saying that since sometime last year. I've stopped holding my breath on a TXS solution.

The software at the end of the week is firmware, not a new GUI, though Jermaine did mention they ARE working on the GUI as we speak.

how about a tuner that can save maps and logs...that way, you can just pull out your tuner and go to work offline instead of yanking the utec. i know this would require some kind of storage for data but that would be a nice feature. you would be able to store maps and logs and download/upload to your tuner instead of your laptop.

sorry if this has already been mentioned but i did not want to read the whole thread cuz i am a lazy ****

Bump for updates.

Well it doesn't look like TXS has a new GUI for us to download(Boo TXS!) so it's pretty much up to Ken (Hooray Ken!) to save us all from hypertreminal Hell.
