It's hard to believe that it can be any good using a 8MHz 8-bit controller. Seems under powered. Also, the software is written in assembly language, not C, making it hard to maintain or modify.
After reviewing the schematic I'm convinced that it was not done by professionals. It looks more hobbyist level hardware and software.
It probably makes an excellent learning tool but I wouldn't use it for anything that I want to run reliably, my VQ35 for instance.

MS is very basic, that's most definitely true, and it is definitely put together by hobbyists. It's not a professional tool. I know a guy who swears by it, but he's running it on a ford probe, not exactly the newest technology.
I've never been fond of it myself.
