if your plugs are fouled, the car will run smoother and better up top without breaking up, but isn't going to technically 'add' power.

because Iridiums will last longer under more fierce circumstances, such as boost.

no need to remove the plenum.

just remove the engine cover and the intake that leads up tot he throttle body. plan on 1-2 hours....taking your time....if you've never done it before.

also, buy a spark plug socket. It makes the job MUCH MUCH easier. I did it without a plug socket. I had to use a magnetic grabber tool to get the plugs out. It took some patience.

Good estimation. I changed out my plugs last night. I'd never done that before, on any vehicle, and it took me almost two hours at a *very* leisurely pace.

Just stuff some paper towel into the socket and it will grab the plug out and you can put them in the same way...I am cheap but it works like a charm.

this post inspired me to change my iridiums for new ones. It has been 15,000 miles. They have been sitting on the shelf for a month now.

Including removing some of the Turbonetics piping, it took me 1:15 minutes. On a natural aspirated car, you should be able to do it in under an 1 hour.
