Default Utec , MAP sensor problems...

I have a problem with my MAP sensor , after I corrected the gradient and intercept values, to the values according to my MAP calibration card, I get this results:
+17.7 psi ( gauge ) ??????????
-1.4 psi ( absolute ) ???????????
I donīt worry about the gauge value , this is not used to control , but what are your absolute values at 0 psi ?
I have the Utec with v2.7, and connected to my home pc.

Thanks.

you are checking with the car, right?

what is your location/elevation? Outof curiosity, what are your gradient and intercept numbers?
I think I was about .5 psi off when I first checked mine. I'll go check it when I get a chance?

What does UTEC read, when you are idling? My UTEC reports -10 psi of vacuum at idle which corresponds exactly to my boost gauge reading of 20 mmHg.

I see, from your signature, that you live in Satiago, Chile. Isn't Santiago about 2500 feet above sea level? That would make sense then having a below 0 reading of atmospheric pressure with the engine off.

I donīt have the utec installed in the car yet, Iīm checking this issue first.
Santiago is at around 1600 feet of elevation.
According to my MAP calibration card my numbers are 114 gradient and 174 intercept.
I have a utec in my 2dn car , a ī04 impreza wrx, the utec in this car reads
0.0 psi ( gauge ) and -2 psi ( absolute ) with the engine off.
My question is , what are your absolutes values with the engine off ???????
