UTEC ------ Anything new from SEMA---- NEW GUI interface??
The good thing about this thread is that Aceman got his answer about a new UTEC GUI.. We all knew there was talk about it but nobody has seen it.. Now that Shariff has we all know its 100% and coming soon..
I to would like to know if it is an upgrade in $$ or what..?? That is a great question..

Just wish i did not have to wait so long to see it, but atleast they see the demand for it.

IMO if hyperterminal had at least that, it would be a big improvement...

I didnt get a chance to stop by TXS's booth again today (Thursday). I spent quite a bit of time at the APS and ATS/Carbonetic booth, and just got too involved to make another pass at TXS. If you guys have been to SEMA before, you know what I mean. It is a total zoo, and its very easy to get disoriented.
I will stop by tomorrow, and snap those screen shots. And I will count the resolution of the map.
In regards to processing speed, there are two factors to consider. One is the raw processing speed of the ECU, usually measured in hertz. The second is the sampling rate of the data aquisition (user interface). I really dont know how the UTEC will perform, in either task, but I am sure they are working on it.

a lot of the ram that was needed to support the program in the hiperterminal(inside utec) wont be needed since all that "load" of processing will be in the program in the pC, there jsut needs to be crisp crisp crisp comunication between the utec and the pc.
btw sharif what did you liked the most in the APS and ATS/Carbonetic booth

At the APS booth, they had all of their kits on display. APS Extreme TT, and Regular TT kits, and they also displayed the C6 kits...very nice stuff. I also finally had the pleasure of meeting both Dave and Peter from APS, and the crew from GRD. It was a proverbial love fest for all!

I like the Carbonetics name a lot better =]
"They also announced that Forged Performance is one of 12 National Warehouse Distributors for the Carbonetics product line"
does that mean, unbetable pricing ?

Is this what you had in mind?

Thanks for the info Sharif!

The external gate setup is a remote location, so you CAN use the same manifold for both the extreme and regulat APS TT kits.
