If its only software it will be hard to charge money cause of Pirating(not that I support that, but it happens). If its a bad-a$$ as it sounds then people using it Vs more expensive options will get them there moneys worth. If they do charge I can imagine it being 30-40 US which shouldnt be that bad.

I decided to let TXS work on the upgrade, rather than bugging them for some pics. If they decide to post them up, terrific...if not, it will be worth the wait.

It is my understanding, that there will be no price change...but anything can change. But with enough feature additions, I think people would pay more for UTEC V.2

From all indications, the upgrade is merely firware and software. Keep in mind, I am speculating based on the information I have...and making some inferences. Don't treat my statements as fact just yet.

Actually Turbo XS has been working on a new UNIVERSAL type UTEC.Which has been released for the WRX and STI platforms already. Its called the UTEC DELTA. It has the same features as the older UTECs, but is designed to be a more UNIVERSAL type unit, similar to the Unichip, where the actual units are all the same, but the wiring harnesses are interchangable. This will allow them to expand the list of applications they can use it on by simply getting a different harness, loading different software and presto!! We just recently installed on on a WRX and the unit itself is a bit smaller and has a harness arpoximately 12"18" long for mounting the unit behind the glove box instead of piggybacked to the ECU. In future releases the actual UNIT will be the same for most applications..
