lol 9.1:1 wont be sluggish. If it was like 7.5 compression it would be slow. Im getting cams too with headers, 14lb flywheel, it will be fine. My porsche was 9.1 and it wasnt sluggish. There arent cam gears and sprokets the ecu advances / retards cams. If the stock ecu can be changed to retard advance cams i would like mine a few degrees retarded to make more top end power. The most it could possibly lose is 15hp, but i bet it will be around 10hp.

Its a 9hp loss using a formula to determine it. Real sluggish lol.

The Z has variable valve timing, sorta like i-vtec, but a bit more advanced. The cam retard & advance is controlled electronically via ECU. Technosqaure can actually change these numbers with the reflash, only useful with aftermarket cams.
