actually, there are quite a few tuners that just flat out will not do the UTEC anymore. Some tend to lean toward the units that cannot be "tampered" with for liabilities sake. HKS comes to mind. A certified tuner must purchase, install, and tune the unit and the end user(and other shops) cannot interface it. Not to mention, the drivability, power, and upgradability on the HKS unit is outstanding.

Yeah I'm wondering too why besides the fact they charge an arm and a leg for everything and that you might be plugging another shop of your choice and not giving Jotech their dues. The Jotech guys know what they are doing. They do however like to work with AEM and Fcon. There's nothing wrong with that. Please give us an explaination on why you are advising the OP to stay away.

i've known that shop for about 10 years now, kenny tran is not one i would trust after some of his work i have seen...but everyone has their preferences, having a warranty on work done is always nice so you know your car wont explode while being dynoed to be tuned

I finally got an appointment with SGP to tune my car. I've been waiting for almost 2 months, can't wait till I get it done.
