Default APEX-i SAFC NEO

I was wondering if this unit allows for tuning the same things as the UTEC. I have been reading around and i think i have heard people saying w/ UTEC you can tune your cams for more power. Does anyone know whether the SAFC NEO does that also or no? Also when running something like the UTEC, are there other mods that allow for the visual display like the SAFC has so that you can see all your cars info on the screen.

The safc neo does basically the samething the old safcII did, control fuel by scaling and monitors some other non-essential things that the car already has gauges for. For FI its pretty pointless. Utec does alot more, hence the price difference, but as for graphical or visual things, you can display the utec dashboard through a variety of programs, I use the al5 sti utec interface meant for wrx's, but works fine for just monitoring..... catch is for all this you need to use your laptop. Although there was a video of somebody displaying their digital dashboard through their nav screen which was pretty cool....

iight thanks man. So basically, with a few NA mods, still the NEO is a waste? Im leaning towards the UTEC just w/ the high price tag and w/ me not going NA i didnt know if i should spend that extra money. And the NEO looks kinda neat haha.

i just tuned an AFC Neo, we actually got about 7 hp from it on my dyno just correcting the fuel, then my customer decided he was ready for the utec, we then dynoed the car again (few days later) then took off the neo, the car made 2 MORE hp without the neo. then i got about 14-17 across the whole powerband...

i didnt want to believe the hype on the stock ecu overcoming the neo, till i tried it myself, i am going to say that it is the truth....
