I would believe that comment is a little over done for a company thats put out good products for other cars . I see them more willing to follow thru with the DBW than AEM was . AEM backed away from the project all together because of the DBW .

It was meant as a joke. I have no experience directly with Hydra and I hope they make good in the Z community, if not, it'll either be AEM or HKS for me.

Both are excellent units. I have an AEM up and running on my TT350Z, I'm still working on getting the AEM to control the cam timing but besides that it's working great. We've used the Hydra EMS on a 05 Lotus Elise that we turbocharged. It too works well, and they offer great tech support when needed.

Just dropped off my car yesterday for Z Hydra install; there was also a roadster being prep. for the install at Vinny Ten Racing's new premises, Grand Opening to be announced soon.

That’s right Casanova, you guys should have seen him go-at-it with a bull dog, yesterday; I can’t keep my mouth shut……you see…it is pure excitement….what a rush

I have been browsing the 350Z aftermarket arena since late 2002, and I can safely say that I been through it all. It is not easy to find that jewel in the rough, absolute jungle out there in the aftermarket arena. I have made major mistakes and wasted much, much mula in searching for the Holy Grail; heck I still have the e-manage with the 3 harness special, which cost me $800 shipped from Canada still sitting in a box, and a heap of others. Alex, you found them yet??

Seriously……when I see a good thing….I want to share it with everyone, and hopefully the smart ones will not have to go through the same mistakes I’ve been through.

Someone, said to me yesterday at the LI meet, a proverb from his granddaddy (an engineer in the shipping industry); the weakest link is the one putting it in

The next time someone tells you that all you have to do is replace with forged internals and you're all set....think again

G

PS: the first engine management system I had for my 350Z was the FMU & the J & S safeguard; I won’t be surprise that many of you have never used or better still seen any of the 2.

We are not doing any group buys on Hydra....we are not looking to devalue the product any time soon.......we will be taking preorders and maybe able to toss in free shipping but that is truly about it.

No updates yet, as there is quite a bit of work that needs to be done with the hydra install; return fuel line, replacing transmission as my 5th gear synchro is bad, half axles, injectors, etc.

Will keep you posted.
