Sorry, I searched and didn't find what I wanted. I am seriously thinking about buying a UTEC this summer closer to June/July. I live in Booneville, MS. The smallest little city in the world. The guy who is going to do my UTEC at Performance Factory is in Orlando, FL, so I'm taking a vacation. Before I buy this 1000 dollar mod I need to get some basic info. I now that gains are based on mods, and my mods are Kinetix upper plenum, Kinetix high flow cats, and K&N Typhoon CAI I am looking to add exhaust and headers to my list also but after I get the UTEC, thats another question I am about to get too. Here are my questions:
1. What are the gains and loses?
2. When I get other mods will it have to be retuned every time?
3. Is there any upkeep or upgrades that it needs every so often?
4. Is it even worth it?
Any help will be appreciated. Orlando is 13 hours away from Booneville but I love to drive so its not that big of a deal.

its worth it...especially if you have it professionally tuned
retuning will depend on your mods obviously...so maybe wait until you have completed all of your upgrades before installing
gains are different for every car...i gained 20 hp...but the best part is having a smooth powerband with constant acceleration
upgrades probably more for fi than anything else...but i wouldn't worry about that too much.
you really can't go wrong here so no worries
