Question tuning ?

when i get enough bolt ons to think a tune would bring out more power......i have to buy a reflash or emu?

to get a shop to tune it they cant tune the stock ecu right?

Oh, well now that makes more sence! I don't know anything about tunning Emu's, but yes, reflashing will bring out a bit more power.

for the basic mods like intake, full exhaust and plenum? do you think it would be wise to go for a reflash or a unichip or some other sort of tuning device? not quite sure which to go with just want something reliable and powerful

Well, it depends on your goals. Like people say all the time, decide first what your goal is and then modify.

My goal is to run N/A with many breathing modifications that will likely change over time. So, I went with the UTEC. However, you have to be pretty good to tune one of these things. So, if you are looking for easy and hassle free, go with an ECU flash.

well my goals aren't much..... just want a powerful street car that ocasionally take to the track (drag and road). theres a tuner here who says he can tune the unichip. just curious if you guys though this would be a good decision? plus if I decide to sell the car I want to be able to part it out.
