logs look great on boost. When the weather is better, i'll do some more road logging with increased knock sensitivty under boost, so a lil more safety. they only time i really got knock was when i took it to the drag strip and was banging the rev limiter bad. I always figured if I did get knock, it was prolly pretty serious.

I was seeing knock but after retarding 1/2 degree its better.

even if our CEL light flashed for knock like teh suby's that would be excellent! such a shame it doesnt though

What do your logs look like? Probably not showing much knock either way I'd imagine, since shariff turned the knock values so low. I'd be careful with those settings, or you'll be taking him back some repeat business on a rebuild.

Anyway, not meant to be a slam, just a heads up. Glad you're happy with it.

/\ .. lol After seeing your knock settings I thought my knock settings are to aggressive then after seeing str8dum1 knock settings then I think min is overly sensitive str8dum1 knock settings are the lowest I have ever seen but if this was adjusted on the dyno and by Sharif then maybe his care is just really quiet. I'll stick with my setting and so far I haven't had any problem...

Lol~ Yeah, there is quite a range there. :-)

Glad to have you, str8dum1... There's a few regular self tuners on this forum. Great to bounce ideas off each other~ :-)

I just cleaned out my log folder and prolly had over 500 logs. i keep an intricate excel sheet with pulls to watch for changes and to tune from. Its def fun. cant wait to be able to afford a haltech.

i'll still leave my boosted maps in more capable hands, but its fun to tinker with NA stuff.

The VQ crowd has deep pockets compared to others, esp suby guys (only mentioned bc utec is on of their tuning options). I cant talk though as i have almost 1g tied up in 3 supercharger tunes and prolly need another hour of Sharif/dyno time at Forged to get the latest rendition making power.
