My FI Issues; Logs inside
As of right now I am pretty frustrated with my car..
I know I have a fuel return system problem and have tried to eliminate every other possibility hoping that maybe I didnt have to pull the back seat and pull the pump assembly out and try to figure out where we went wrong..
No matter how much fuel I add, it doesnt get any richer.. I am so afraid to go WOT right now..
Heres the damage..
I can post my map here too.. I know there is NO WAY I should be maxin out my injectors.. Is that what the ---.- means?? Are they maxed out?
Within portions of my UTEC map, I have it set well above 270..
I have 440's installed with the CJM stage 1.
The person I got my Greddy, fuel return, etc etc from pretty much abondoned me as I have already tried that route.
Anyone wants any more info on what my setup is just let me know.
Anyways, I appreciate any input on this.

I am seeing a weird flutter on your pressure chart. It goes up..then down slightly..then up..almost like the signal is fluttering. I would check that you have a dedicated and direct pressure source (no tees), for the UTEC pressure sensor.
When you say you are not able to add anymore fuel, are you also changing the 90-100% columns as well...even though you arent hitting them?
And as Jermey mentioned, make sure you fuel pressure is about 50psi, and that it heads UPWARD when you blip the throttle at idle. If it heads down, then you have an issue in your fuel pump assembly.

I will check the pressure sensor as I cant remember where its going to.. I have a few t's too..
I am NOT adding fuel to the 90-100% columns..
Gonna go see if I can adjust the pressure any higher.. i was told 50 PSI with the vacuum line NOT attached was good.. Thats all the info I was told..

I filled the tank up to above 3/4 and adjusted the FPR to 55....

yeah you definitely still have some fuel pressure issues, did you drill out the little yellow piece in the bucket??
that would cause it to read low at idle and then not keep up very well like its doing.
also, be carefull with the bucket, the sensor will cost you 100 from nissan and probably needs to be replaced if your gas is reading wrong. they are very touchy and easy to break.

Ken,
I wouldn't be surprised if you have a bad walbro.....It happned to me. That is why I bought a return system. Once I installed the return system, I quickly realized that the stock system wasn't the issue.....after alot of diagnosing and help from Charles @ CJM and tech @ aeromotive, I determined that the walbro was F'ed!!!
I swapped walbros and BINGO, problem solved.
but again, like the others have said, get the gauge hooked up in the cabin so you can see what is going on!!!!!

or your fuel pressure is WAY too low, it should be 50 at idle

If you set your base pressure like stock (53 psi), you'll 42-44 psi at idle and up to about 60-63 psi at full boost (assuming you keep it under 10 psi.)

If we broke it we can get a new one..
Strange thing this morning.. Driving to work and its like 68 degrees out, no humidity, beautiful morning.. Car was RICH.. was running in the 9's and 10's and got no higher than 12 WOT in 3rd-4th..
Something is funky for sure..
I need to get that fuel tap so I can hook my pressure guage too it.. J do you have any in stock you can send over? Can you take a credit card over the phone or ? Lemme know man..
Thanks

ken, you dont need the fuel tap, you use the same port that the mechanical FP gauge is in the front of the FPR.
just unscrew that one and put the one for your sensor in it.
i spoke with andrew today and i was telling him that i start all my cars at around 50 psi WITH
the vaccum line on, that way you wont be maxing out the injectors (440s) with the kit.
dont put too many holes or too large of hole in the bucket either. charles has instructions on how to do it perfectly.
some people have gotten bad walbros, some fuel pressure regulators have been bad but i would guess that you need to set up the FPR at the right psi and make sure your bucket is sealed correctly on the top oring and that everything was installed correctly in the bucket.
good luck man, you will get it here soon...

Damn I cant beleive I missed that..
I am pulling the pump assembly tomorrow morning and also getting a new walbro just in case.. My gas guage wont read below 1/2 tank so I goltta fix that and might as well see if we did everything right and pout another walbro in to eliminate that possibility.. Will keep you posted..
