Default Any comment on Tomie ECU

I am think to send my ECU to Tomie to reprogram. Is it a good idea?

I know F-Con, Motec is the best way to do the tuning but I do have a very experience tuning shop in my country. So may be the best way is send the ECu to Japan.

Does anyone using Tomie ECU and how it perform?

THX

Dont know about Tomei, but Impul makes pretty good stuff (some of it is bought and rebadged as Nismo) as well as Mine's. I assume you have a JDM version being in Hong Kong, so I would look into those companies. I dont believe the Tomei, Mine's, or Impul will work on a US version of the car, so you may not have much luck finding people on this site who have used these products. Good luck, Connor

I had altered atmopshere Motorsports tune my ECU...they did a great job and were super quick in the turn-around time (they ship the ECU out the same day they receive it!)

he's in Hong Kong-

he'd probably be better off shipping it to a japan tuner.

I think I'll ship my ecu to japan. Heard about the Japanese band name tuning company also can do the mapping according to your modification and adjust the power to low-mid or mid high rev range.

Getting a good tune from a shop in Japan is like getting a genital disease from a hooker in Tailand. It's a sure thing... I wouldn't even consider sending it to the states if you've got a way to get it tuned by Tomei.
