hi there i'm getting my motor fully built and wanted to know if the utec can handle over 600 whp or should i spend the extra and go with hks vpro.

 

I believe it can be done without problems, but from talking to several HKS VPRO owners, they would not even think of using another engine managment system.

I've heard comments such as "It's so smooth, it feels like stock" on more than one occasion.

 

if you like to tweak and self-tune, you can't do the F-con.

 

sharif had over 600+ rwhp and tuned it with a utec.....some people consider the hks overkill unless u have 850cc or bigger injectors....its a bit harder to control with the utec...16x16 resolution and the vpro is 32x32...

 

Anything is possible, and we have done it before with the UTEC. UTEC is actually 10 pressure based load sites, vs. 32 pressure sites for the FCON. That said, if you have the option to have an FCON tuned, I would definately suggest that, at this power level. Once an FCON us tuned correctly one time, it should rarely, if ever, need to be retuned.
